Typo do not divide into 2 loaf pans as it only makes one loaf as stated at the top of recipe.

Like others, I make the full recipe and use a full-size pyrex loaf pan to bake into one loaf. I lower the temp to 325 after the first 45 minutes, then bake at 325 for an additional 20 or 25 minutes. Excellent bread, especially since I am not a nut fan.

I have made this recipe many times with my children and they absolutely love it! It is easy enough that they can help me and it tastes great. They purposely don't eat the bananas I bring home so they will get brown and we can make this banana bread.

WOW! I was looking on line for a banana bread recipe and I found this AWESOME one. Super simple & moist. I made it into cupcakes instead of a regular loaves and the finish prodect was a hit. I was a little skeptecal making it because I read some bad reviews but I was so glad I did. Kids ate them up in no time. I used 5 medium size bananas instead of what the recipe calls for and it wasn't too overpowering. This is a keeper!!!!

Delicious! With a simple tweak, I made it vegan and substituted the eggs for flax. (3 TBS water to 1 TBS ground flax = 1 egg. Boil until egg like consistency and then use just like you would an egg I made muffins, so I baked them for 23 minutes and they were perfect. Next time, I will try adding some pineapple. ;-

This was great! I did tweak it a bit and used about half whole wheat flour, half maple syrup and half cane sugar (YUM!, and added some extra cinnamon, ground cloves, allspice, and nutmeg. Everyone LOVED it!! Will make again!

Solid 4 possible 4.5. i substituted 4 oz. applesauce for oil and 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar for the 1 cup White Sugar. and also threw 3/4 a bag (possibly a bit too much of Chocolate Chips in it. i can only say you CAN'T take a bite without chocolate with my mods. also i used a Bundt pan vs loaf pans, and it came out very well and about 15 minutes sooner.
great recipe!

I have made a ton of banana bread recipes over the last 20 years. This is THE only recipe I'll use. I make it once every couple of weeks and it's super easy, moist and always delicious. I do bake it longer than an hour. I usually bake it for 1:15 minutes, and it comes out perfect each time.
