Awesome!! I made these as the recipe said and they tasted just like a moonpie. Everything was great, except i didnt care for the frosting with the egg whites. I would just prefer maybe a sweetened cream icing with marshmallow creme added. The cake was moist and delicious. Will make these again. They are very good, but very sweet so they arent for those who arent into sweets.

The banana moon pie cupcakes weren't hard to make. Both the filling and the frosting came out beautifully. I tasted them right after frosting them, and thought the frosting didn't really go with the rest of the cupcake. I tried one the next day, however, and thought they were the BEST thing I'd ever eaten. The frosting set and was crunchy and fluffy all at once. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these cupcakes. I'll definitely be making them again.
