This is excellent. Fresh, easy and delicious and nice change of pace. . . .[even in the fall as a side dish]. I stayed true to the recipe except that I bought already shredded carrots. I would definitely make this again and not change a thing.

I love, love, love this recipe. I make it using light sour cream, light mayo and Splenda instead of sugar, but it turns out good (although I'm sure Ina's original is better. I like to always have some in the frige as a healthy snack.

I LOVE this salad and I am sharing it on Facebook for all my health-conscious friends. I subbed non fat greek yogurt for the sour cream and used low fat mayo and regular raisins. Absolutely delish, cool and refreshing for summer. Also an inexpensive, easy and pretty dish to bring to a BBQ or pot luck!

It was ok. I didn't like the consistency, I was expecting it to be thicker. I basically just ended up with a bowl full of water, carrots, and raisins. It was a good combination of flavors though. I did have to add a lot more raisins because I didn't have pineapples.
