I used Splenda blended with sugar and it turned out great topped with ice cream. The Slenda mix worked great even for the glaze on apples.

this cake looked unique and tasted great...it was the best cake batter recipe i've ever tried. The only problem was that the caramel got watery on the top so when i turned the finished product upsidedown, sugar water dripped out.

I tried this simple recipe and the results were great. Nice flavor. I would disagree on the cooking level rating of 'medium' difficulty as I found it to be otherwise: simple and easy to make. This is a definately a repeat dessert
