but I didn't love it. I would use marinara sauce rather than tomato paste. I am not a fan of cooked tomatoes so I left them out. The crust was good but so is a pre-made crust.

This recipe is awesome. The only thing I did differently is used Fresh Basil instead of fresh Thyme. When ever I make this pizza for company they say, they can never get enough, and it's the best pizza they have ever had.

By far this was the best pizza recipe for making at home, it was unbelievable; made w/ store-bought pizza dough, which was completely fine as the fresh ingredients complemented nicely! This pizza is not just for kids, I was looking for a simple recipe for margherita pizza...this is IT!! Vine tomatoes are fine, the tomato paste makes it sweet, combination of frezz mozz w/ white sharp cheddar, fresh thyme is purely amazing...a total staple for us pizza connossieurs, and the simplest recipe for a home oven!!!

Good recipe, however as a Nicoise it has no resemblance to what pissaladiere really is. The fact that it's for children is irrelevant. Pissaladiere was one of my childhood favorites...the sweet and savory onions, salty Mediterranean anchovies and that almost buttery dough...nothing like it.

My kids loved this, and we did too! Instead of using slices of tomato, I diced the tomato into a very small dice and placed the tomato under the cheese to get them to eat it. I also made one for the grown ups. I sauteed mushrooms and added pepperoni, it was wonderful. And it reheats very well also. I will be making this again very soon!
