So, I'm on bedrest so I used what I had around -- 8 ozs. of rough-chopped krab meat (I know, terrible, 1 lemon zested, and a spoon-and-a-half of mayo -- I was worried it wouldn't be citrusy enough bc I zested using a knife (can you tell I'm not pro? so I also squeezed in the juice of half the lemon, and threw everything in the food processor to get a finer texture. So.delicious. I imagine lime would be less in-your-face than my lemon, but I thought it was perfect -- had it with spinach on cinnamon bread because I like sweet : This would take less than 5 minutes to throw together, I imagine, if you had a zester -- good AND quick? Done.

I had great luck with this recipe! I used light mayo and also added avocado, like some other reviewers. Can't wait to move on to the other recipes that were on the show!
Oh and to the anonymous person, it wasn't even Ina's recipe.. If you'd watch the show, you'd know that.. Keep rude comments to yourself!

Quick, easy & delicious! I've made this with Hellmann's/Best light mao and I think it enhances the flavor of the crab! If you're lucky enough to have a Trader Joe's near you, they have fantastic prices on 1 pound cans of crab!!

I hollowed out a ripe avocado, diced the flesh and added it in with the rest of the salad, then served it in the avocado shell. This recipe is simple, fresh, and delicious.

I love Ina's receipes and watch her cook
all the time. This was great, I can't
eat lettuce so I stuffed it in mushrooms
and it was so so yummy. To the RUDE
user dated 1/7 - If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!!!

This crab salad is incredibly delicious and all crab flavor! Also, for that reviewer that was so rude toward Ina, feel free to be creative with your own ingredients. And maybe have that anger issue checked out.
I, for one, will be making this again and again!

Loved this. I love crab but don't like to smother it with lots of other things...the full flavor of the crab comes through with this one. The person with the nasty attitude on 1/07 needs to get over the tablespoon of mayo. Life it good...enjoy it...and go eat something!

this is a great way to taste the delicate flavor of crab. i, too, used crab from costco-very economical and easy. for a small difference, i mixed equal amounts of low fat (not no fat
sour cream and low fat mayo..that made it a touch lighter. and, "anonymous" should lighten up. i cook ina's stuff all the time and i am five foot six, weight 115 lbs and wear a size four...so laugh already.
