I will never want berries any other way again! The balsamic vinegar brings out the best in the berries, but otherwise you don't get a really strong flavor from it. I like another reviewer's tip that suggested to add the raspberries only 30 minutes before serving. My only complaint with the recipe is that the raspberries got mushy after an hour in the refrigerator... Nevertheless, this is so easy to make and I could have this every day!

Wonderful Floridian type salad that I used for a special occasion today. I added fresh pineapple chunks to the other ingredients. My daughter and I were scarfing up the remainder in the dish before bed tonight, and I must add that the little bit of juice at the bottom of the dish now tasted like fine wine. The balsamic vinegar/sugar dressing is a brilliant combination.

Used pomegranate balsamic vinegar, sugar, a tsp of water to thin, strawberries, blueberries, fresh white peaches and chilled. 30 mins before eating I put in the raspberries to prevent them from getting mushy. Sooo good. Nom...nom...nom...

I would have NEVER put balsamic vinegar on fruit, but it was amazing. I LOVED IT!! with the sugar it was fantastic and all the kids ate it up without another thought. I'm so glad I saw this recipe as I will make it this way forever. Thank you

This salad is a huge hit everywhere I take it. People always want the recipe. It is really delicious. The only problem I have had is that you can't really make it ahead of time (like the night before, the raspberries break up and become mush. So follow the recipe and it should be great!

I have made this recipe many times. It has everything--fantastic flavor, healthy, and versatile. You can serve it as a side dish, with yogurt for breakfast, or on ice cream for desert.

Excellant! What brand name would the reviewers consider a good balsamic vinegar?
