Ingredients

  • 2 cups long-grain rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth or water
  • 1 cup cooked veggies (carrots, peas, green beans, zucchini, etc.)
  • 2 pounds ground chicken or beef
  • 2 to 3 eggs

Directions

Cook rice in chicken stock, covered over a low flame until done, about 20 minutes.

Process veggies in food processor until the bits are about the same size as the rice. (Do in batches.) Mix with 2 eggs. Fold into rice mixture. Add ground meat and form into balls. If balls aren't holding together well, add the third egg and mix again. Put balls on skewers and grill until cooked through, or press into patties to cook on a stovetop.

If you are going to make this, DO NOT FOLLOW the TV example. The lady on TV added Onions and Garlic. These both can be DEADLY to dogs. PLEASE search for information on the internet if you don't believe this. You don't want to kill your dog of some recipie you saw on TV!!! I rated this low because of what I saw, otherwise, I liked the recipie.
