These doughnuts were far too soft and soupy to actually do anything with. Also they were much harder to fry than other doughnuts.

I made the doughnuts and they are ok. A little on the heavy side and I probably won't make them again.

I didn't care for that recipe. It had something missing. It just didn't taste right.

My family loved these! They are light and crunchy. They taste great even without the sugar and cinnamon. I tried a variation by not rolling the dough out. I just rolled a portion of the dough in my hands and made the doughnuts by joining the ends together. This saved cleaning!

The dough was much too sticky so I tried adding more flour. Then it wasn't sweet enough so I added more sugar and melted shortening. It was better but still not sweet enough so I tried again. This time I used the chocolate variation and stuck to the exact recipe, again with lousy results. My doctored first batch was better. I won't make them again.

Melt in your mouth, eat them up before they cool. Not much of a mess, easy clean up. And then you make more.
