This is a great recipe. It was real easy to make and I loved the fact that there are not that many ingrediants. Great Delioucious FLAVOR!!! The ginger and basil makes a great combination. This ones a keeper!! :

This is an easy/convenient recipe, but I've had better tomato soups.

I prepared this soup for my in-laws for our first dinner get together. If I had known how good it was going to turn out I would have just made the Basil Tomato Soup and my salad!

This recipe is so simple and so easily adaptable. We like to load in the chillie to spice it up a notch, but beyond that it's perfect....especially for minestrone the next day (if you don't puree it!

This is the best tomato soup I have had in a long time! I used to hate it, but now I make this recipe at least once or twice a month.

This is a good soup. I used canned tomatos and they worked great. This was what I was looking for a tomato soup that isn't full of fluff. I have tried a few off of food TV and Epicurious and this one is the one.

I fell in love with this recipe the first time that I tried it. It's easy and especially good when there is a chill in the air. The ginger and basil help warm you from the inside out.
