It was mentioned on the airing of the show that the marinade for the lamb chops would also be good for pork chops or chicken. I felt that the relatively large amount of sweetness provided by the brown sugar would make it a good marinade for pork chops. My, oh my, oh my. I'm a bit of a newbie cook, but my wife and I both agreed.... these were the BEST chops we'd ever eaten!!! 1/2" chops, marinated for about 3 hours and cooked on a medium-high grill for 5 minutes per side (turning 90 degrees, without flipping, at 2.5 minutes to leave pretty grill marks was perfect. Thanks to Sam Choy.

Marinated for 2 days and they turned out to be yummy!
Used 2 pasture-raised lamb chops and 1/3C reduced soy sauce, dried basil leaves, cilantro, 1C brown sugar, and tons of garlic powder w/ minced garlic and ginger. At first herbs seem to be a lot, but again you're making lamb chop. It works out in the end. Make sure you sprinkle some fresh chopped cilantro on top if you love cilantro : Thanks Sam Choy!

While not a huge fan of lamb, this asian marinate is extremely tasty! I will be using it next on other meat or chicken.
The recipe is simple and packs a lot of flavor.
(Sam Choy has a great resteraunt if you're ever on Oahu...one of my faves so I had to try this recipe
