I've made this in the past and it is always a winner. Going to a new place for Thanksgiving dinner and of course volunteered to make this because I know it will impress. BTW - for Thanksgiving, the go-to bourbon is of course Wild Turkey.

I have made this many times.Easy and delicious. I reduce the sugar just a bit.
My husband likes the canned jelly stuff,
but thinks this is great, too. I have both on the table.

I have been using this recipe every Thanksgiving for at least four years now and every year it comes out just as delicious as the previous year. I think any brown liquor would work fine as a substitute for the bourbon, but I usually add cognac because that's what I have on hand. Delicious! The sauce keeps for a long time in the fridge too!

This recipe couldn't be easier. I used Jack Daniels, and even my no-alcohol inlaws loved it and request it every holiday!

I love this recipe.... I NEVER eat cranberries at Thanksgiving because I have always hated the flavor of cold boring cranberries. When I hosted Thanksgiving for the first time four years ago I just knew I had to make cranberries for my guests so I started looking for a recipe. When I saw this recipe, which contains burbon, I knew this would be the one to make! I actually like Brandy so having that on hand that is what I used and it was wonderful. It is a sweet, warm sauce and I prefer to serve it warm out of the oven! ALL of my guests LOVED it and my cousin called me the next year to get the recipe to make for her Thanksgiving dinner. I will be making this again this Thanksgiving.

This is one of the easiest recipes I have made. The result is a really thick sauce that you can make when baking other items in the oven, too. I will not just wait for Thanksgiving to make this recipe again.

I have used many good recipes over the years. From Red wine to Grand Marnier, but this is our new favorite. I doubled the recipe for 10 and had only a spoonful left. LOl.
