I made this for Thanksgiving, doubled the recipe and there was nothing left over. Even the cranberry haters loved it. So easy to make. Will definately make again.

I made a batch prior to Thanksgiving 2009 except used Captain Morgan's as others had suggested. My son gobbled the whole thing down in a couple of days. It was VERY good. But, we thought that the Captain Morgans gave it an odd flavor. So, I made a double batch for Thanksgiving using half the liquor called for with Jack Daniels 1954 Gold Medal. It was PERFECT! It gave a nice flavor without overpowering the dish. I got RAVE reviews and will be making this recipe for now on!!

Everyone loved this recipe at Thanksgiving. We had some die-hard can cranberry lovers who devoured it. I wish I would have made more because we had no leftovers.

I didn't put the whole amount of burbon that the recipe called for, I put 2 splashes in and you could taste the burbon without it overpowering the entire dish.

I make a double recipe so there'd be lots of leftovers - there was none left. My 6-year-old grandson said it was his "favorite recipe of all time" I used gran gala "airline bottles" from the liquor for $1 each and the orange flavor was really great in this recipe. Will be a go-to from now on, and I'm sure it will be greatly requested by family members.

I don't eat cranberry sauce but I just made this recipe for my family for this Thanksgiving....it is SOO GOOD! I didn't add the whole 1/4 cup of bourbon, simply added Maker's Mark to taste. I was surprised that it made so little... only 2 cups of sauce or so. I may make another batch before Thursday just in case! I have a feeling this will go over very well!

No more canned sauce for me!!! I love to bake and I love cranberries so when I saw this recipe I had to try It. especially since it was simply cranberries with a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg. I went to the liquor store and the clerk helped me find a "nip"size bottle of a true bourbon. it was just the right amount. (I am 53 years old and over the years have sampled some pretty terrible homemade sauces which made me think I would only like the can of ocean spray jellied sauce, this is Just absolutely delicious!!!

Every year I get at least 3 phone calls asking for this recipe. I was reminded of that fact today when a parent from my daughter's school (who I haven't heard from in a year, called me for it. I made it for a class Thanksgiving Dinner and had to print copies for the entire class due to its response. It's so easy to make and everyone loves it - even the people who swear they don't like cranberry sauce! Thanksgiving cannot be complete without this dish.

This is delicious! I also substituted Grand Marnier for the Bourbon and added a little bit of orange juice, just to make it more surypy. This will be my "go-to" recipe for Thanksgiving!

This was first time makeing cranberry sauce - no canned for us this year. I served this to a group of non-cranberry sauce eaters. They loved this one.

I've never been a cranberry fan, but I was asked to do the cranberries for Christmas dinner. Even I loved this. I did use alittle more sugar and a spiced run rather then bourbon. My daughters said it kinda tasted like applesauce.
