I'm sure this recipe is great but....What you watch in the video is nothing what you see on the recipe list. He doesn't give you his bbq sauce info nor does he give the butter info. In the video he cooks on a grill but in the recipe he gives instructions for a cedar plank. This is so different from the video that I thought I clicked on something wrong. Bummer.... I want the recipe in the video. :0(

I am glad to hear that for those of you that actually made this dish it came out great! If you watch the video for this recipe you will see it certainly isn't the same. Wine is different, ingredients, and how he actually makes the bbq sauce. It is very frustrating when you want to follow a recipe (and make what you watched and it isn't the way the chef made it. This certainly happens a lot with FN. Maybe they should post a video with all their recipes just so we can double check to make sure it's correct. Or better yet, they should watch the video before printing the recipe....or have the chef write out their own recipe!!!!!!!

This was my fisrt experience cooking with cedar planks. I used white fish instead and they turned out wonderfully. I will definitely make this again. Once again, this recipe was amazing!

This has become one of our favorite salmon recipes. It is so simple to make and tastes so good. The cedar plank give such a great taste to the salmon and the onions on top are great. Even our kids love it.

Excellent blending of flavors. The cedar flavor was subtle but an integral part of the taste. My marinating time was a bit longer than suggested in the recipe and cooking time was a little bit longer to acheive an internal temparature of 140F.
Definitely restaurant quality!
