Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Directions
Clean asparagus and chop off ends. Combine olive oil and garlic for a marinade. Add asparagus and let marinate while you preheat the grill.
Grill asparagus for a couple minutes on each side; watch carefully as they will cook quickly. Serve.

peppered and salted asparagus, drizzled evoo, let sit about 5 min.,on grill
5-7 min., ran butter over asparagus, sprinkled parmesan cheese, yummy........

Marinating the asparagus while the coals got hot was a good idea. I didn't measure it all out. I just mixed some oil and garlic in a pie plate and periodically stirred the asparagus until it was time to grill. My husband doesn't normally eat asparagus and he ate most of it himself. Even better with a squirt of lemon once it's been plated.
