This recipe is an absolute favorite of mine. The recipe instructions and ingredients are friendly to the novice cook. The result of the recipe was scrumptious: full of flavor! My party particularly enjoyed how the brown sugar caramelized itself on top of the vanilla bean ice cream! I will use this recipe in the future to impress my friends... as a "last minute, spontaneous" dessert hehe.

I bought bosc pears and thought they might night hold up...but the did! Wonderful dish. Going into the recipe box.
