In Italy, we also prepared 'Grilled Provolone'; also
Mozzarella; but I prefer my bread grilled. Some people like
to dip their sandwich in egg, then grill it.
In Italy, we call these 'Provolone OR Mozzarella en Carrozza'.
Here in America, Italian Grilled Cheese sandwiches. I like to
have Marinara sauce OR Italian Green Sauce (Salsa Verde OR
a Pesto sauce. Marinated Provolone OR Mozzarella is delicious
    served this way!
These sandwiches can be prepared in a Panini press OR on a GF
type of grill! Basil also can be used to season.
