These were delicious. I cooked them on a cast iron grill pan on the flat side.

We really enjoyed this simple yet almost perfect recipe. A modification I thought of while grilling the scallops was cutting a lemon into rounds and adding some black pepper to season them. Then I grilled these lemon rounds and made grilled lemon pepper to garnish the scallops with. Awesome!

My husband LOVES scallops. These scallops were so fast to grill and easy to prep for the grill. I served with baked sliced yam and vacuum cooked broccoli/w/garlic. I only wished that I had purchased larger scallops at Trader Joe's. Make sure you buy scallops that are sushi or sashimi grade so you don't taste the bitterness (almost tin can like of the preservative.

We like to add mesquite wood chips to our grill so these scallops were simply marvelous! I used the same seasoning as the recipe called for. A Must Try!

Flavor was excellent, I had 4 couples over for dinner, we had shrimp, steak, and scallops to go with our vegetables (kabob style Since the grill was crowded we ended up cooking the scallops in the broiler- this worked great. Everyone marveled an said what a great cook I am : but really, I was lucky to find this quick & easy recipe for the scallops just 20 minutes before my party & still had time to put them together & be ready for my guests!

Perfect spice blend, lemon pepper carried the dish and was the perfect flavor for the scallops. Grilling adds flavor as well. This is simple and success probably depends on you ability to tell when scallops are "done". First time grilling scallops, but they came out great (I sampled a few until I determined they were done. They were a big hit.
