I haven't made this yet, but I have absolutely NOTHING NEGATIVE & way too MANY POSITIVE things to say about this recipe!! I used to go to Saddle Ranch at Universal CityWalk on a regular basis JUST for this dish. The great thing about this restaurant is that you NEVER leave hungry, & this dish is NO exception!!! Everything about it; the taste, texture, juiciness of the chops, tangy sweetness of the cherry mint sauce will absolutely 100% put you in your own personal heaven!! I totally stumbled upon this after searching for lamb chop recipes & couldn't believe my eyes, I know it'll be amazing once I cook it!!! THANK YOU SADDLE RANCH GODS FOR SHARING THIS DELICIOUS SECRET!!!!

I was skeptical about the cherry/mint combination, but it met rave reviews from my party guests. I will do this again!

This was my first attempt at lamb chops, and it was a true success!
The marinade of xtra virgin olive oil, sliced garlic and fresh rosemary was perfect. We grilled the chops over charcoals. The key is starting the fire with a paper towel formed into a cup in which we poured a bit of vegtable oil.
This was a new method (free of the chemical after taste of lighter fluid. The smokey flavoring of the grill made the lamb so delicious. We used a meat thermometer to make sure it was cooked to specifications.
Don't over cook the lamb!
The Cherry mint sauce was delicious. I didn't use as many mint stems as called for, but the mint flavoring was still perfect.
We served scalloped potatoes, creamed carots, cucumber dill salad, green beans almondine and homemade french bread. Shiraz and cabernets were served with the lamb. I will definately make this again for special occations.
