I made this for a Birthday party we were celebrating at work and everyone rave about it. Since I don't have a smoker and wasn't about to stay up all night cooking on the grill, I put mine in the oven at 275 and cooked about 6 hours. I just poured the apple juice in the bottom of the pan. Very tasty BBQ.

This is a excellent recipe. I only changed to apple wood smoking.

This is great on the Boston Butt roast but is even better as a rub and baste for ribs on the grill. I par boiled the ribs first then put on the rub then put them on the grill and used the apple juice for basting. I used charcoal, hickory chunks, and indirect heat for about 2-2.5 hours. The apple juice is the secret to this I think.
