We tried this recipe on a whim one evening. We had some salmon fillets and were feeling uninspired, so we perused this site. My husband is a spice snob and was not very enthusiastic about this recipe- until he tasted it! We both loved it and will definitely be making salmon this way again. The spices gave a very earthy flavor with just enough heat!

This rub is the BEST!! The best Salmon I have ever had!!!! It is best to put dry rub on the salmon immediately after taking out of refrigerator and let the rub rest on salmon at room temperature for about 15 minutes before grilling. Then add the olive oil and grill!! You wont be disappointed with this recipe!! IT ROCKS!!!

This is a great method for prep of Salmon. I kept the heat low at 7 min per side.

Very good rub. I have made numerous ones, including cedar plank rubs and this one is outstanding. Made according to the written recipe.

The rub has merit, but it's not the best.

just served this for a 4th of july party. rave reviews from everyone, even someone who doesn't like seafood. didn't use a whole salmon, just filets from the grocery store and it turned out great.
