    I do not know what the some of the reviewers were talking about. If you followed the recipe the sauce came out nice and thick...I guess if you just want gravy then this is not the recipe for you. Everyone thought this was absolutely wonderful in all of it's elements. Best ever.

    Very tasty. The ribs were tender, but were a little underseasoned. I think I was too careful with the salt since they were too salty the last time I made short ribs (using a different recipe.

    Wonderful flavor. This was my first time making short ribs. Cook boneless type for 3 hours
    plus, but they were tough. Shredded the meat and added back into sauce , served with
    mashed potatoes. Will try again but what happened?

    This was amazing! I doubled the recipe for company, so I used 2 dutch ovens. The ribs were so tender I couldn't keep them on the bone, so I removed all the meet and discarded the bone. I separated all the meat from the connective tissue and shredded it. My husband and i have been into homemade pasta lately, so we made some and spread the meat mixed with the veg over the top! So unbelievably yummy!!!!! I will make ahpgaun 4 sure;

    This is absolutely THE best short rib recipe I have EVER experienced. I have a tendency to tweek recipes and was determined to try it "as is" since it called for ingredients I don't usually cook with. OMG, I loved it, my family loved it....I will most definitely make this dish again...and again..and again.....

    I thought that for the amount of time to cook that this requires, it was not worth it. It was tasty, but not amazing. I would personally get a short rib sauce from somewhere like Williams Sonoma that you know will be absolutely delicious. This recipe didn't do it for me, and I do love Ina's other recipes!
