My friend made these for us one night when we got together and we all loved it. The gouda gave it such great smokiness that it blew me away. I was definitely expecting something much more basic and that was a great surprise.

This recipe took a long time to make and after all that effort I was disappointed. The recipe isn't very detailed leaving out simple things like should I cover the mac and cheese when it goes in the fridge and/or freezer? I didn't use all the mac and cheese and still made 50 balls and it says serves 6? The mac and cheese itself was kind of bland, I would try Paula Deen recipe next time.
