Good burger served to high praise from hubby, much disgust by stepson. The cumin is a little overpowering IMHO.

The olive burgers were flavorful and moist. They'll definitely be on the menu again at our house. They're a great low-fat option.

I wasn't expecting much when I made these, as I wasn't sure how the flavors of the olives would meld with the turkey and seasonings.

All I can say is...WOW! These are AMAZINGLY good. Even my mother, who vehemently hates olives, loved these. The cumin flavoring is rich (and is even better in the aftertaste, the olives provide a mild saltiness and a rich "meatiness" that provides a lot of body. You do not need to add extra salt or any other seasonings to this.

I used green olives with the pimientos in them simply because I couldn't find plain pitted green olives. Did not make a bit of difference.

These are wonderful. As a note, I did not make four burgers with this recipe - it makes thick, juicy 1/3 lb. burgers just as well as I'm sure it makes 1/4 lb. burgers. You can still pan fry a 1/3 lb. turkey burger at 5 minutes per side and it will be fully cooked.

This is a nice way to mix up the old burger routine, and much less fat with the turkey. The green olives add great flavor.

We grilled these outside and found them very tasty. A nice change of pace from regular burgers.
