This is by far the best fried chicken I have ever had! The rub recipe is more than enough for a whole chicken, so we will have some for next time, because there will be lots more times! The flavor is out of this world and the chicken is super moist.

It appears that the dry rub portion of the recipe stops at that point and the oil is used for frying.

I have a question about the amount of ingredients. The chili powder is listed twice? It is listed for 1/4 cup chili powder and then again with 2TBS. chili power ? Does the 2 tbs. canola oil go into the rub? thank you,, judy

I have never made oven fried chicken until this recipe it waas great the flavors just danced off your tongue i see why alot of people eat at this place thanks i will be keeping this one around!
