Fantastic summer salad. Can't get enough of it! It's great to eat at Wilson's and it's so exciting that I can make it on my own for family cookouts now! If its too tart for you, you probably have too much sugar in your diet! Don't fix it if it ain't broke!! A MUST TRY!!

I wish people would quit commenting on recipes that they have not made or plan to make. It affects the rating.

Anyway, this salad is okay, but I needed to tweak it some by adding a little sugar.

it needed a lot of tweaking. The dressing was too tart, I added some sugar to it and it was too much. So I added another can of peas, plus some corm and a chopped tomatoes. My husband even loved this and he is picky about salads.

Makes a great appetizer - just serve with tortilla or corn chips!
