I make this with fresh blackberries from my yard. The ginger and cardamon give it a refreshingly different twist! Everyone I have made it for has loved it. Everyone in my office devoured it and asked when I was making it again. I am adding it to my family favorites.

Even tho I like cardamom and ginger, the flavor combination did not work for me. It stayed in the fridge - no one in the family liked it - and my husband and I have pretty adventurous tastebuds. Sorry!

This is really yummy but maybe not for pie traditionalists. The ginger and cardamom give it a spiciness that's great for sophisticated palates--probably not for kids.

This was so easy and absolutely fabulous!
I used a pre-made pie crust even! This is a keeper.

Super yummy & easy. Doesn't get better than that! I even cheated and used frozen berries and pre-made crust. Didn't have fresh ginger or cardamom and was still great!

I made this pie for my dad's birthday last weekend and my whole family loved it! I made a few alterations by only using a teaspoon of ginger and instead of cardamom, I added a dash of ginger and nutmeg to the crumble.

The pie was gone in about 12 hours, no kidding. I will definitely make this again.

I love this pie. It was so easy to make and the ginger gives the pie unique and delicious flavor. It is one of my favorites.
I put 1/2 teaspoon of salt because of one negative review.
