Ingredients

  • 1 (46-ounce) can vegetable juice
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon celery seed
  • 4 shakes hot sauce (recommended: Tabasco)
  • 1 (4-ounce) can pureed pickled jalapenos
  • Celery sticks, for garnish

Directions

Pour the juice into a large pitcher. Add the pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, celery seed, hot sauce, and jalapenos. Stir well. Serve over ice with celery sticks as stirrers.

    Y'all missed the comment about it also being a "virgin" Bloody Mary. Add vodka to taste. It is yummy either way!

    The base recipe is a good one, you can easily pour a shot of vodka in your glass prior to adding the mix. The picture shows pickled okra tooth-picked to the celery and I would highly recommend that over the pickled jalapeno that the recipe calls for. Try adding some of your favorite spices and make it your own....go for it! (My favorite is siracha sauce
