This is 1 of 2 of my fav recipes from Guy. As long as you cut this guy at a bevel against the grain, it is as tender as a filet. I hope you love it as much as my family does!!!!

Marinate is so good you want to drink it before you put it on the streaks. And if you only have 3 hours or so it still is amazing. But if you have 24 hours it only gets better. Took to a Bar B Q and now doing a review due to had to print recipe as everyone wanted it.

AWESOME...! The flavor is great! I like to let it soak in the marinade for a few days

You should never poke holes in any cut of beef to "allow the marinade to infuse" this will simply keep the natural juices from staying "locked in" the beef and will cause it to me tough, dry product.

Very easy and tasty. Everyone loved it. It's winter, so I sauteed the steak, but I'm looking forward to grilling it.

Missing from the directions: Use a pair of forks to pierce the steak all over, both sides to allow the marinade to infuse the steak. This should to resolve the 'bland' reviews.

The low rated reviews just reinforce my thoughts that those reviewers are recipe surfing and have no idea of the show that produced recipe. It is well documented that recipes suffer from translation from the various shows. I urge all wanabe cooks to watch the show before casting a low rating. Please remember, recipes are only guidelines, with the exception of baked goods. Use your best judgement, based on your personal taste or experience to modify.

This is a great recipe. I marinated a flat iron steak overnight. It was so flavorful and tender. Would make it again and again.
