    This is absolutely wonderful! One thing not mentioned in the recipe is that it helps if you tenderize the meat before you marinate it. If you don't have one of those tenderizing gadgets, just use a fork. Also, I infused some vodka with fresh rosemary and it really made a difference in the marinade. Excellent!!!

    This recipe was fantastic. I marinated the steak over night for the full flavor. You've left off the sauce portion of his recipe. Only marinate the steak in half of the marinade and the put the other half of the marinade in a small sauce pan and reduce while the steak is grilling. The sauce gets nice and thick and is a very tasty toping to the steak.

    I loved this recipe, I did use V8 Spicy instead of regular V8 just to spice it up a little but totally loved it!!!!

    I found this recipe a little to bland the first time I made it. I made it again with half the V-8, and half the vodka. In my opinion it was much better.

    Made this for Father's Day – we loved it, especially my husband. For those who found it “rancid” I would say the type/caliber of vodka you use probably makes a difference. Or I am sure you can omit the vodka and this would still be a wonderful marinade. My picky husband says this is a keeper!

    This was a very nice way to cook a flank steak. The meat was tasty and best of all -- this was easy to prepare. A great prepare ahead recipe that can be grilled up quickly on a weeknight when time is tight. My guys loved it!

    This was a waste of every ingredient. We watched the show on TV and thought it would be good. Followed the recipe to the letter. We wasted an entire flank, but our dog enjoyed it!

    I made this recipe for my husband and me tonight and we loved it!! I made it exactly as the recipe stated and the steak turned out very tender and tasty. I did take the marinade and reduce it down for about 20 minutes and it made an excellent sauce for the steak. I will definitely be making this flank steak again!!!

    Was great left out vodka and used campbells tomato juice instead of v8. Marinated 24 hrs and pan seared was awesome!!!
