I didn't read all the reviews, so I don't know if anyone has mentioned using the marinade as a sauce for the meat. I put the marinade in a skillet flambeed it and reduced it by half. This made a thick rich sauce that was delicious poured over the meat.

this is one of the tenderest, most flavorful pieces of steak ive ever had.i keep this recipe on hand for when i need an impressive meal.ive only gotten rave reviews.if you havent tried it you should.i marinade it the night before and i pierce the meat with a fork before adding it to the plastic bag.Guy did that in the show but it doesnt say to on the recipe.i think the marinade penetrates the meat more.its ALWAYS delicious!

I made this recipe tonight, I only marinated the flank steak for about an hour due to time constraints, but it was still very good, even my kids liked it.
I also took the left over marinade and reduced it while the steak cooked on the grill, it made a wonderful gravy.
Thanks Guy!!

This is a fabulous and easy method and guarantees rave reviews! Because it can be prepared so far in advance, it allows for time to party with your BBQ guests! My sons loved this. I won't tell them how to make it - that way they come home to visit! Can't beat this with the Grilled Romaine salad from the same episode.

This was really easy, throw it all in a ziplock and then on to the grill the next night. Made for a really easy Friday night dinner with guests over.

Since I've pretty much tried most of Guy's recipes, I'm eager to tune into his 2007 season to see what's next! This flank steak has LOADS of flavor and, cooked medium rare, is perfect! Not only are Guy's recipes inventive and out-of-the-box, but his on-air personna is something special, too. I agree with several other reviewers that a 1 pound flank steak wouldn't serve 4+ people; 3 would be our maximum.

It was excellent. I let it marinate for about 8 hours, though 12-14 might be better. The meat was pretty tender and VERY juicy. I thought that using this marinade added a nice flavor while still allowing the flavor of the flank steak to come through. I'll be making this again, definitely.
