This was good but as a calorie conscious person I struggled with the fact that it was almost 1000 calories per serving. I found another recipe which has less than half the calories. The ebook is available on amazon. It's called Healthy Cheats. Check it out if anyone has similar concerns.

Everytime I make this people rave about it. Making it this weekend for a Labor Day picnic. There won't be any leftovers!

The recipe was pretty good. I added some cheese totellini, ranch dressing, shredded cheese, onion pwdr, garlic pwdr and red pepper. I waited to add the romaine until I served it. I made the night before and it tasted better the next day. People were raving about it and it was quickly gone. I was told I have to make again soon.

It was good, but I will leave out the bacon grease next time : very greasy. I added chunks of ham and cheddar cheese!!!!!

This was very good, but next time I'll have to reduce the amount of thyme used. A tablespoon made it so overpowering to the point I almost didn't want to eat it! Half a tablespoon will most likely suffice.

Excellent. Very satisfying. I ended up reducing the mayo/sour cream for a less creamy salad just because I'm not a huge fan of mayo. In fact next time I will switch the measurements of the mayo for the sour cream. I also added finely chopped red onions for another level of crunch and used canned diced tomatoes instead of fresh (availability.

This is a family favorite in our house, a little time consuming to make, but so worth it in the end. We've also had lots of requests for the recipe. It also takes just as good the next day when served cold.

This is definitely a keeper!! I made 3 lbs for the Super Bowl and everyone absolutely LOVED IT!! I could not find corkscrew pasta, so I used small Rotoni pasta. Also used cherry tomatoes and cut in halves. And I did not used the bibb lettuce or romaine hearts, I thought that sounded gross!! I substituted with baby spinach! It was delicious!!
