This is a family favorite in our house, a little time consuming to make, but so worth it in the end. We've also had lots of requests for the recipe. It also takes just as good the next day when served cold.

This is definitely a keeper!! I made 3 lbs for the Super Bowl and everyone absolutely LOVED IT!! I could not find corkscrew pasta, so I used small Rotoni pasta. Also used cherry tomatoes and cut in halves. And I did not used the bibb lettuce or romaine hearts, I thought that sounded gross!! I substituted with baby spinach! It was delicious!!

Ugh. Next time I'll leave the bacon grease out of this one. Between the pound of bacon and mayo in this dish, it just made it extra greasy. Brought it to a party and it was hardly touched. A waste of time and money.

Yummy! I loved this salad and so does my family. Held off on some of the lettuce and put it in just before I served it. (thanks for that tip review Made it the 2nd time the night before, it was even more flavorable. This was great.

I didn't have every single ingredient on the recipe, and didnt quite use the exact amount stated either, but it is still pretty good.

I thought this recipe was ok. Not worth all the work. I would rather stick to the Betty Crocker pasta salad in the box.

Agree with past reviewers about the lettuce - used about 1/3 of what recipe says. Loved the freshness of the thyme. Used low fat ingredients (mayo/sour cream and it tasted great.

I haven't made this yet, but I am going to use lower fat ingredients, and low carb pasta to reduce the carb content of this dish, an I will serve the lettuce on the side and tell everyone to mix the lettuce in on thier plates- that will keep the lettuce crisp and refreshing. And, since my family LOVES bacon, we will be using more bacon than this calls for an adjusting the wet ingredients to reach our desired creaminess- overall, we can't wait to make this for labor day weekend!

I was looking forward to making this because my boyfriend loves BLT's, but the calories were heavy, and in my opinion, the amount of lettuce in the recipe was heavy. I couldn't really find anything else but lettuce in the salad. Flavors were good, so next time I'm planning to half the mayonnaise and sour cream, and substitute with maybe avocados(?. Don't really think it needs that much creaminess though. Also, planning to use way less lettuce.

Tip- don't add the greens until you're ready to serve. When they wilt and become soggy, they're very unappetizing.
