    2,114 mg of sodium? That's 88% of the recommended daily allowance of 2,400 mg!! Please tell that's a typo

    Thought this was pretty good! I didn't put as much bacon in the salad as called for and since my husband doesn't like tomatoes I used sun dried tomatoes. I would definitely make this salad again, just my way :}

    Sodium 2,114mg per serving. Yikes, no one should consume that much sodium in a day!! That being said I don't think I will ever make this salad...

    It tastes amazing! This is easy to make and lends itself to tinkering. I used reduced fat may & sour cream, and less of the bacon fat and it still came out tasting fantastic. It's got dairy so it's not friendly to those with lactose intolerance, but that's the only food issue I encountered with it.

    My goodness..this sounded SOOOO good! Perfect combo of ingredients, right? NOT! I used DeCecco rotini, just picked, beautifully ripe Bradley County, AR tomatoes (just make ya wanna die deliciousness!, fresh basil & a bit of Italian parsley right out of the garden, etc... I had to use organic Romaine...but still sounds good....and again: NOT! NOT!NOT! Soooooo very disappointed in this recipe. Didn't think to make sure it wasn't a Rachel Ray concoction...might explain its mediocrity. Anyway....wouldn't waste my money on it unless you had nothing else left to whip up. Gracie!

    My fiance and I made this recipe last night for dinner and it was fabulous. We made a few changes to "lighten" it up substituting plain yogurt for sour cream and light southwest ranch for mayo. We used turkey bacon. Fresh herbs and lettuce from the garden really made this dish sing. Terrific summer one dish meal.

    This is a new hit for family gatherings. I tried this recipe out for Father's Day and served with a large meal. I mixed the pasta and all ingredients together (excluding the lettuce and chilled, then took the lettuce in a separate Ziplock bag and tossed before serving. Unfortunately I was concerned the recipe as-is wouldn't be enough, so I doubled it. It made so much that when I went to mix the lettuce in I had to use two LARGE bowls! I recommend using the original measurements. It would have easily been enough to serve as a side dish for 8-10 people. As long as you don't mix all of the lettuce in, it is good left over too!

    Easy, go-to salad. Used a full lb of turkey bacon and a half packet of powdered ranch dressing to the mayo/sour cream for a little kick to the dressing. Next time I will use grape tomatoes, halved if Iwarm them...or forego sauteing the tomatoes to keep is fresh and the colors bright.
