Have been searching for the perfect burger recipe and this is it! Followed ingredients exactly. We like things on the spicy side but if making for guest I might cut back a bit on the cayenne. From watching other Food Network shows* I incorporated a few tricks. *Formed patties on the inside of an oversized mayo lid covered with cling wrap so that the patties were uniform. For well done, cooked on a 500 degree gas grill on the flat side of a reversible cast iron griddle for 9 minutes on one side and 7 minutes on the other. *Only turned once. Toasted buns on the griddle until golden brown. *Put mayo and coarse black pepper on the bottom bun. Topped with burger, lettuce, tomato, red onion and bun top. Served with deep-fried sweet potatoes. Unbelievable!

These burgers were awesome. I think I put a little too much cayenne but they were delicious nonetheless.

This is cooking made simple, anyone can do it!
