I made these (all varieties for a party for about 50 people. It was relatively cheap and easy (since I could do most of the prep before, and everyone LOVED them! The meat ends up being so tender and SO flavorful! A definite summer MUST!

I decided to make these for Fourth of July (I know, not the typical BBQ food for this holiday, but I wanted to try something different. This was my first time ever making kabobs and I came across this recipe through a google search. I knew I wanted to use chicken, steak and shrimp so when I found this one it was perfect. I marinated the meat for about 3 hours using all fresh ingredients -- they smelled so good! After I grilled them, people were eating them straight off the grill as they couldn't wait to get a plate or sit down. Everyone raved about how good they were and how much flavor there was. Each meat really had its own distinct flavor. I would use these marinades again even if it wasn't to make kabobs, they were DELICIOUS! Huge hit -- you cannot go wrong with this recipe!

We were having company over and I thought kebobs would be easy to fill everyone up. I saw this recipe and all the great reviews and took a chance. I was thrilled that everyone loved the marinades. I didn't make shrimp, and in my haste to get dinner on the table I forgot to baste the veggies with the balsamic puree, but the meat and chicken were fantastic. Even only basting for a few hours was enough to give incredible flavor. My husband isn't a fan of chicken, but he now wants chicken cooked only in this marinade. A real winner!!

This has to be one of my all time favorite chicken marinades. I've made it several times for gilling kabobs. It's also good with pork. Absolutely delicious and perfect flavors for summer.

This recipe is FANTASTIC!!!!! I made it for the very first time for 15 guests for a BBQ at my house. I took a gamble based on the wonderful reviews I had read and it was worth it! All the guests raved about the flavors of each meat and veggies. I followed what some of the other reviews suggested and marinated my meats the night before. I really think it made a difference. I started my veggie marinade about 4 hrs prior. It was very simple and I just pre-made all of my skewers! Great marinades for a great meal!

I had my entire family over last night and was a little bit worried about what to cook because my Dad is a celiac and my sister and brother-in-law are vegetarians. Plus there are a couple of picky eaters. This was a great idea because everyone could just pick out what they liked. I doubled all sections of the recipe. It took awhile, but everything was easy. Everyone loved the shrimp and the chicken marinades and it was a lot of fun assembling your own kabobs. My Dad said they were the best kabobs he's ever had. Great recipe!

I used the chicken marinade and it was AMAZING! Everyone ate them all up! I made them for a party of 40 so it was a lot of work zesting and juicing all of the fruit, but it was most definitely worth it! I actually assembled the marinade the night before and portioned it out into baggies, then when it came time to marinate, I just dropped the chicken in, it made it so easy!
