I've made the "real" chicken fried steak too many time to count, but this is so easy and tasty I have to wonder why!? The amount of fuss and mess of the "real thing" compared to this makes it a a no brainer to use this recipe instead.... 'nough said.

For lower fat...this was amazing. I did use rib eye and pounded it out instead of cube steak. Crispy and tender, and surprisingly the gravy was delish! It was a great meal and I will make it again!

I thought this had great flavor, and the hot sauce just gave it a nice background taste without much heat. I was disappointed in the breading, however. The juices of the meat sogged the flakes so the bottoms of the steaks weren't what I am used to in a chicken fried steak.

It was my first time ever making chicken fried steak. I think it turned out great and the recipe was very simple and easy to follow. The crunch of the corn flake is great.

This recipe is simple to make and very tasty! I loved the crunch of the cornflake topping, and the cream gravy over it was a nice contrast. I followed the directions exactly and will be making this recipe again! My husband and I both loved it!

Would definitely make again. With the gravy on the cube steak, I thought I was eating regular fried cube steak. Seasoned well & very tasty. It's a keeper.

THank you Bobby for a great heart healthy substitute recipe. I can't eat beef so mine will be chicken fried chicken. The gravy is fine. Once you face the fact that you can't eat like you used to, these lighter recipes are a god-send.

We didn't care for the corn flakes and it just didn't have that good old southern comforting factor like the chicken fried steak we're used to.
