It's amazing no one mentioned the recipe doesn't include the part on putting the apples in a baking dish, sprinkling the granola mixture over them and then returning the baking dish to the grill (or oven if you would prefer for approximately 15 minutes. Peeling the apples sounds interesting but I'm going to try it first without peeling them.

Ok, so I know you grillers out there will scoff at my comment, but I grilled on my george foreman. I was going to do the apples on the grill outside, but it was really dark out by the time i got to dessert, and our starter is broken and I didn't want to burn myself trying to get it started. I know, I'm a wimp. Anyway, I agree about peeling the apples, and if you're gonna do it on a foreman, this is what I recommend:
1 don't use quite as much oil. 2 peel the apples and cut them into the smaller slices before grilling 3 MORE OF THE GRANOLA CRUMBLE!!! I definitely wanted more of that it was all soooo good.
Great dessert though- my family LOVED it!!

Great family dish. I think everybody should try this fun dish. But I recommend to peel the apple because I did not and that was the critizem that they had.
