AWESOME! Glad I read comments before I made it so I adjusted vinegar and sugar - but my family raved on this. It made an awesome special summer family dinner. No need to wait until Thanksgiving to try this one out. We are making the glaze today to use with a pork loin. Know the mixture with apples will be great with it too.

Awesome. Somehow when I searched for a recipe, I ended up at the video and not the recipe page. Glad I did, as there are discrepancies between them, as you all know--the vinegar amount and perhaps sugar as well. I did put the glaze on too early though, but it still tasted great.

And regarding the comment about gas grills--perhaps that person keeps their drip deflectors too clean. I get all kinds of extra flavor when I use my gas grill. And it frees up the oven for pies.

I'm going for my second go tonight. Really excited about it!

Best turkey ever. I'm not a big turkey fan but this is awesome. I cooked this on a charcoal grill with indirect heat. The extra smoke really added a lot of flavor to this already perfect dish.

After seeing this on TV I wanted to try the glaze as a dipping sauce for pork. Thank goodness I read the reviews and only used 3/4 cup of vinegar, that was still pretty potent. I decided that 1 1/2 cups of sugar would probably be too sweet so I only used 1 cup, I am glad I did, even then it was a little too sweet. I added an extra serrano but it was still not too spicy, I chose not to use the sage. I tested this recipe because I thought it would be great on a pork tenderloin and was I right! I made it and served it with plain old pork chops and everyone raved about it. This will be part of Christmas eve dinner this year. Thanks Bobby.

I was going to initially make a traditional turkey with some citrus aromatics but i watched Bobby's show and i immediately changed the recipe. I have no complaints and my guests devoured the turkey. The breast was moist, the skin was crunchy and carried all the flavor of the glaze. My turkey was slightly smaller at 13 lbs. so it only took 3 hours to cook. It was great easy and enjoyable. I'm going to be making this turkey next year as well. All in all great recipe and great taste.

*Cooks note: the recipe does call for the wrong amount of apple cider vinegar. i ended up using 1 2/3 cups of it.

This sounds really good.. I was just wondering can you add stuffing inside the turkey while cooking? I love the taste of stuffing baked inside the turkey and dont want to miss that flavor..

This is my all time favorite turkey recipe to date . I have made it for the family dinner a number of times. One thing needs to be corrected, when watching the show that featured this recipe Bobby only put about 3/4 of a cup of apple cider vinegar in the pot. 3 cups would be to much I would think. Would Bobby FLay let us know the correct amount please.
