I love this recipe so much that I grew cilantro in my garden last summer and made several large batches of the pesto and froze it. We are eating the last of it tonight - so sad that its all gone!! this is a recipe that I will pass along to my kids! Dont alter any part of this recipe. Its amazing!

The pesto was incredible, I couldn't stop eating it while the fish was cooking! Was happy to have some leftover to freeze for another time. Thought the rub was pretty good too, but the pesto was the real winner. Served it over mixed greens tossed with a little lemon juice and olive oil and brown rice. Yum, can't wait to have it again.

This was absolutely delicious. My husband, who absolutely despises fish, said it was one of the best meals I have ever made. I had to make some modifications because we didn't have the ingredients. I subbed white sugar for brown sugar, used regular chili powder and chipotle powder, and smoked paprika when making the rub. I only had red bell pepper and added a jalapeno to the "pesto". We turned these into fish tacos and topped with lettuce and cheese.

Hands down the best fish dish I have ever made. You'll have plenty of left overs for yellow pepper pasta pesto. It's the deliciousness that keeps on giving. Make this dish. You will love it!

This recipe is a home run. I used parseley instead of cilantro and I don't believe it altered the flavor significantly. When applying the rub, it looks like it will be spicy/salty but on the contrary, I found it had a mellow flavor. I added green onions as a garnish. Enjoy!

I have made this over and over and over. Every time we have a BBQ my husband wants me to make this, it is his favorite. I like to make double the pesto and use it on sandwiches. My husband uses the left over pesto on everything, he even dips Wheat thins in it. By far my favorite fish recipe EVER!

I gave this recipe 4 stars because my boyfiend liked this alot. I thought it was good, but not great. I had difficulty getting all the ingredients, so for all the shopping around i did, it wasn't worth it.

really good but i had to alter it. for instance, i feel the paprika/pepper powder was too strong, so next i'll go lighter on those ingredients. The pesto is a perfect match, but i substituted basil for the cilantro (i don't like cilantro and added some honey.
