Wow! The flavor combinations work perfectly....what a delicious quesadilla! I did run out of cheese...plan on 3 cups of each type of cheese. Bravo Bobby!

Can we give more than 5 stars? These were amazing. My kids had seconds, which never happens, and we all loved them. Great flavor and fun to eat!

I was less impressed than everybody else. Yes, the taste was nice but, not worth the extra effort. Two of the longest steps - marinate the chicken and then grill for flavor could have been accomplished in much less time - and just as much flavor - by slow simmering the chicken in the bbq sauce on the stove before shredding. We used a charcoal fired grill and included some of the toasty charred bits in the final dish and was surprised at how little flavor was added.

These quesadillas are the bomb! Yes, they are a lot of work but they are totally worth it if you want to try something different. This is a great recipe to use if you have leftover BBQ chicken. I recommend doing the salsa and dressing ahead of time so the flavors can meld. I don't smoke the tomatoes but roast them in the oven instead. We love it!

I have cooked a lot of recipes from this site, and by far this is the best one. The sauce and the salsa MAKE this recipe what it is. It is spicy and yummy. I will definitely make this again!

I made these on a weeknight - so I cheated and used purchased BBQ sauce and salsa, as well as whole wheat tortillas, but followed the rest of the directions exactly. The dressing is AMAZING - so fresh and light. I can envision a dozen other ways to use it. Very very good recipe.

The flavor combination in these quesadillas is spectacular! The salsa has such a bold taste, the dressing is kinda tangy, and the quesadillas are sweet and spicy at the same time. Bobby, I don't know what made you come up with this mix of flavors, but you sure did a great job! My family was oohing and aahing over these! I ended up roasting the tomatoes (450 degrees for 1 hr instead of smoking them. They were drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper, and they were delicious! Thanks for such a great recipe, Bobby! :o

These were delicious! I made the dressing and salsa earlier in the day, then marinated the chicken. These were so good, and the leftover salsa will be eaten with chips tomorrow!
