The brats were tender and terrific. I simmered them in the house, and the place smelled heavenly for hours. It's a keeper!

Waaaay to vinegar-y! This just didn't make it. Made it to go with homemade brats I made and it overwhelmed the entire meal; neither hubby nor I finished the small amount we put on our plates.
