I tried Bobby Flays turkey recipe for Thanksgiving and it was great! I had a hard time finding pomegranate molasses. I looked up the pomegranate molasses recipe on the internet and made it myself. It turned out great, but it takes an hour. I recommend if making it yourself doubling the recipe (like I didn't I had to make it twice, which took 2 hours~both times the molasses turned out thick and was good, but it was time consuming. My turkey was a hit at Thanksgiving!!

This is a wonderful glaze and not just for Turkey!! I did Tivo the show and gave my turkey the same butter garlic and sage rub down and put the chicken stock at the bottom of the pan and it came out super moist, you can find Pomegranate molasses on thespicehouse.com or amazon.com, and I see why he won this Throwdown!!

My son wanted to try this glaze on the turkey, so we gave it a whirl. It was delicious, and it was a flavor that carried through from the pomegranate-avocado dip we had had earlier in the day. The only drawback was finding the pomegranate molasses. We couldn't locate it, even in speciality stores, so we had to find a recipe to make it. That recipe didn't turn out as thick as it needed to be and the horseradish made it even thinner, even though we drained it. I think it would have been better if it could have been thicker. But it was still good.
