Mojito, mojito, a real mojito. An excellent drink to cool you down ,but don't drive. Be sure to use a steel shaker and shake it very gently.

It's more "time consuming" because it's the correct way to make a mojito, and no, you never put soda in a shaker. Just muddle in a glass, add syrup and rum then stir, add ice then top with soda (and coconut milk for this one.

This is my new favorite Mojito, and I plan to use the delicious ginger simple syrup in other cocktails as well. I agree- no shaking unless you would rather wear the mojito. Stir until mixed and cold, then pour.

Nice taste. However, from this bartenders view, soda should never be shaken. I added last and gave a stir.

This is a great Mojito! It is a little more time consuming, but worth it! I made it for our Easter Brunch and it was a great hit! Will make it again!

Loved the basil-mint combination and the ginger syrup really added to the drink. I'll be mixing these up to impress my guests..
