I made this casserole today for a brunch I hosted...the local grocery store I frequent didn't have any fresh italian sausage so I had to use a log of frozen. I basically halved the recipe, using 6 eggs instead of 10. I substituted monterey jack cheese instead of american because the sausage I used wasn't spicey. It was a hit! My guests thought I was a genius. PS- It reheats well, I made a plate for my boyfriend when he got home from work!

I made this recipe for a Thanksgiving brunch for my family. I cooked it for the 30 minutes it said to cook it, but it needed about 10 min. more. Also, it turned out a little watery (as a result of the vegetables, I think. Good tasting and my family ended up liking it!

This casserole is really great. I put most of it together the night before and cooked it the next morning. Everyone loved it. However, the previous reviewers are right--it takes about 40 minutes on 350.

I served those for a Sunday brunch in the summer with other items. I ended up adding a couple more eggs and cooked it longer than suggested. I think I want spicier sausage the next time I make it. Everyone really liked it though.

This is really good but you it does take longer than 30 minutes at 350. It was more like 50 minutes.
