Wonderful. I have only made a few salads with Bulgar but I have tasted MANY, this is the best! I also could not resist the dressing on it's own. As previously reviewed, I too had trouble with the 3 cups of water, had to re-make it just used the package instru.. No fresh mint available, so used 5 tsp. dried, worked very well. Also could not find Serrano chili, so substituted with a few 'heat' ingredients including a few dashes of Chipotle Tabasco. As we are not a 'heat' family this was probably better....Thanks Bobby

This salad is excellent. We use is as a side dish but also love to scoop it up on pita chips. Thanks Bobby!!

Is there a nutritional value available for this dish?

Awesome salad. A nearly identical recipe is in Bobby Flay's Grilling For Life book. The only change from that recipe is the one here has the 4 green onions. I used half the seeds from the serrano and it had just enough heat. When added to the salad, the heat decreased even more. I'd probably use all seeds the next time. It's a pretty easy recipe too!

WOW Thanks Bobby this is one flavorful salad. My husband loved this, I doubled up the batch and used 4 serrano peppers since we love the heat! So much tastier than Tabouli which contains way too much parsley.

I agree with Trish - the vinigrette was too hot. Is the ingredient listing incorrect and serrano seeds should be removed? The salad was wonderful. I will make it again with the serrano seeds removed. I also added more bulgar.

This salad is excellent--full of fresh flavor and really healthy. It is NOT, however, tabouli. Tabouli is a traditional Lebanese dish made with an abundant amount of parsley and less bulgur--unlike the "tabouli" sold in many deli's these days. Please do not confuse this salad with tabouli. Do try adding some garbanzo beans to Bobby's recipe--it's delish.
