This worked out perfectly and was just as described. It became the hit of the tailgate party at the first Patriots game of the season against the Bengals. We actually started out with sandwiches but as more people joined I cut the chops so that they became appetizers. Just wonderful and we will do again before the end of the season. All prepped that AM and finished off on the Webber! Went well with the Pinot Noir Hitching Post 2006/Sam Adams/and the 'ritas.

Marinated for 30 mins. Then just broiled the chop for 4 mins on one side, flipped it, broiled 4 more, then topped it. Broiled with toppings for another min or so. Awesome is all i have to say. Just like a dish i get at the local cuban restaurant. My husband and two boys declared it delish, awesome, and a must in the rotation. Served it with black beans and rice (zatarains. Added a can of corn to the rice(always do. Took about 50 mins start to finish. Perfect.

Ok, I was a little skeptical about the pickle in the middle, but it blew my family away; there was only one chop left. I hate eating the same-old-thing, thks was awesome change to an ordimary meat, even my 2 year old grandson loved the chops.!!!!! Thanks Bobby

    Even for a novice cook.

Had the pork chops and were looking for something to do with them. Saw this recipe and knew that I had most of the ingredients, or at least something close. So decided to give it a try.

Substituted lemon juice for lime juice.
    Substituted Guyure chese for jack.
Substituted thin-sliced ham lunchmeat for ham.
Substituted pickle relish for sliced pickles.

Okay, so that's quite a few substitutions, but it didn't matter--this recipe held up beautifully!! It will be a family favorite for years to come.

This is a great summer dish. My family really enjoyed this meal, even though I didn't use cilantro. Marinated the chops for 30 minutes, and it tasted great with pickles or not.

Really tasty and grilled up perfectly!! Added a bit more cumin before grilling and served with some oregano lime dressed yucca. Complimented each other well.
