I made this last night and my husband and I LOVED it!! I wasn't sure about this pickles, but it gave a nice tangy quality to the meat. I will definitely make this again. I might try flank or skirt steak with this next time.

I make this all the time. Super easy. It's important to let the chops marinate in the sour orange + oregano + garlic + olive oil for at least an hour... and if you whack them gently with a meat tenderizer, they absorb more of the marinade faster. I also always add jalapeno slices and cilantro to the interior... and frequently smother with grilled onions. As it rains most of the year, this goes in the broiler more often than not.

This is an incredible dish. I am already planning to invite neighbors over for dinner. They will think I prepared all day for this one and it is so easy! YUMMY!!!

I made it exactly as it was written but because of the snow outside, I decided to use my cast iron grill pan indoors. It came out great. Hubby LOVED it so it's a keeper.
    Thanks Bobby!!

This is my first time to cook something from the food network, and I can't believe what a good job I did! Thanks Bobby Flay! This recipe made me feel like I have great potential in cooking. The flavors were amazing.

It is a challenge to cook properly. Since the pounded meat is so thin its easy to overcook. In an attempt to avoid overcooking, I undercooked it! The trip in the mircowave to finish solved that, but results were less than optimun. Flavours were nice - served with grilled romain lettuce from this site.

So good. Instead of chops I had my butcher butterfly a 5 lb. pork loin and roasted it in the oven. I overcooked it and it was still so delicious...my family is still talking about it and I can't wait to make it again.

Love the cuban pork chops...served it up with cuban corn salad and spanish rice. The recipe sounded odd to begin with, but the swiss cooked into the pork and charred around the edges...oh so yummy!

first time out with this recipe, and can't wait to repeat it for a larger crowd. so simple to do, especially if you buy the pork chops already butterflied. the flavors in the marinade are amazing, and marry very well with the pickles and cheese. simple to handle on the grill, too. only one tip - make sure you drain the pickle slices very well before grilling. other than that, simply follow along with bobby's plan!
