This is 5 stars on taste for sure, but I guess I was expecting a "shake" until I realized there was 2 cups of liquid in it to the 1 pint of ice cream. I maybe would really chill the espresso (only cooled mine to room temp next time, but with all of the liquid I can't see this would create a "shake" still. This is like a really yummy coffee "cooler" you might get at your local coffee shop. I would just call it just that, so you/your guests know what to expect. Oh, and I would top it with cream beaten only to soft peaks or use "Redi-whip" for a really light cream topping to match the consistency of the "cooler" better. I whipped my cream to more of a stiff peak (with a little vanilla : and just thought it was a bit too "solid" you could say, floating on top. I drizzled with caramel and topped with chocolate shavings. Nice!
