Hmmm....I wasn't as impressed with this recipe as I was hoping. Cheesecakes are one of my favorite things to bake, so I was tempted to tweak it myself, but I didn't, I followed the recipe exactly. Except the apple brandy was the only thing that I was unable to find. The texture didn't turn out like a true rich cheesecake, it was like a firm baked custurd and the orange flavor was too strong against the apples. I loved the crust and the topping and would definatly do those again....on my own cheesecake recipe. The best things that I took away from this recipe: finding a delicious new sugar, great new crust and loved the brandy caramel!!

I thought the brandy was a little too strong in all of it.

I followed the recipe EXACTLY - NO CHANGES. Unfortunately the curst tasted bitter and cheesecake itself seemed dry and not at all the rich cheesecake I was hoping for. My oven temp is fine (I tested it - cheesecakes should be cooked at a lower temp. My gut told me this was way too high, but I followed the recipe anyway. I shouldn't have. The apples and carmel turned out well (thank goodness because without it, the desert would have been unedible. Sorry Bobby - stick to the grill!

This was fantastic. I didn't use Apple Brandy since it was so expensive. I just added some apple juice to the caramel. Rave reviews!

I used less sugar, but this was a really delicious cheesecake in combination with the caramel and apples.

this is one of the best cheesecakes i've ever tasted. It was also the very first cheesecake i've ever baked and it was simple!! It really made me look like a pro!

I thought this cheesecake recipe was awesome. Not only was it easy to follow but everyone is still talking about it. A true keeper. The only thing I altered was the apple brandy. I thought it was very strong so I opted to use less. I also served it with the apples and carmel on the side so people could apply their own toppings. It was a big hit!
