OMG!!! Out of 5 stars I give this a 6. This burger combination with the sauce and rings was just excellent. I glazed the burgers with the sauce on the grill and then put a dollop on each when served. Yum!!! I have embraced this bbq sauce completely and keep a quart or 2 on hand at all times. It is about the best I have had. Perfect balance of sweet & spicy. This can be used on every kind of meat from beef to pork to chicken. Full flavor that I can eat with a spoon by itself. Thank you Bobby! You da' man!!!!

I made this burger but grilled onions rather than making them into onion rings. I love onion rings but my waistline doesn't :( Anyway, even though I made it into a healthier burger, these were by far the best and juiciest homemade burgers I've made! Can't wait to do them again!!

I have made this burger several times. The recipe is also in Bobby's book "Burgers, Fries, and Shakes" ( I know book titles should be underlined, but I can't get my keyboard to underline. I make the BBQ sauce a couple of days ahead of time. Then I make the bacon in the oven and leave the oven on warm so that I can keep the onion rings and bacon warm while I make the burgers. These are huge burgers, so we cut them in half for the smaller grandchildren, but everyone agrees that these are the best burgers ever. Be sure to make the shake and the sweet potato salad, too.

We tried this burger this weekend, and it was a definite hit! The BBQ sauce is fantastic, and the tip to baste the burger with the sauce as it grills and before the cheese is added is something i have never tried before. The onion rings took a little while to prepare, but were a worthwhile addition. Highly recommended if you have a couple of hours to prepare burgers on a summer weekend!
